Lock50 JLR OBD Link Tool HW04-B
Replace locked RFA modules, disable alarms, and program keys on Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles from 2010–2026+.
The Lock50 HW04-B is a professional OBD key programming tool designed for Jaguar and Land Rover PEPS systems. It supports adding and removing keys on unlocked RFAs, or replacing a locked RFA with a new virgin module without dealer tools. Alarm OFF functionality is supported on most vehicles from 2016–2026+, with CAN wire Alarm OFF supported on many models up to 2022.
The HW04-B also includes CAN wire Alarm OFF software and adapter, making it a complete solution for real-world JLR jobs.
What the B Package Adds Over the A Package
On locked RFA jobs, the B Package allows you to replace the RFA in the vehicle and flash the VIN to the new module with a single action, eliminating the need for dealer tools. If you choose not to replace the RFA, the B Package also offers lower token costs for locked-module jobs.
The HW04-B guides users step by step through the programming process, making it usable even for technicians with limited experience. When an RFA (sometimes referred to as KVM) is locked, you can either replace it with a new module and flash the VIN, or complete the job using tokens.
Key programming is supported via OBD from 2010–2026+. The package includes the old-style key OBD adapter and supports three key types: OEM PEPS (new or used), OEM non-PEPS (new or used with UWB disabled by software), and Lock50 HW18 keys with UWB disabled. When UWB is disabled, proximity and remote functions remain fully operational.
CAN wire Alarm OFF software is included and compatible with most models up to 2022. Required adapters are included, including the HW03D old-style key OBD adapter, DOIP Ethernet adapter, and C-package adapter.
The HW04-B can be upgraded to the HW04-C package using tokens. This option is recommended when the correct RFA is not in stock, when the BCM is locked, or when one-button module flashing is required.
