Lock50 HW18 Change ID Key – JLR Non-PEPS Aftermarket Customer Key (315 MHz, NCF29A1)

The Lock50 HW18 Change ID key is an aftermarket, non-OEM Jaguar and Land Rover customer key designed for non-PEPS operation on supported vehicles. This key operates at 315 MHz and is used by disabling UWB directly within the Lock50 software.

UWB can be turned off with a single button press inside the Lock50 system. Once UWB is disabled, the key functions as a full proximity remote without UWB.

This key is intended for use on 2017–2024 Jaguar and Land Rover PEPS models when the RFA is already unlocked and UWB can be disabled in the BCM using the Lock50 HW04.

If the RFA is locked, the RFA must first be replaced and programmed. After UWB/PEPS is turned off in the BCM, this key can then be programmed and will operate with full proximity and remote functionality, equivalent to a PEPS key with UWB disabled.

Important note: all keyless functionality will stop working unless PEPS is properly turned off in the BCM when the RFA is unlocked.
