The Lock50 HW04-C is a professional Jaguar and Land Rover key programming and module programming tool designed for vehicles where security modules are locked and manufacturers typically require replacement of RFA, KVM, BCM, or TCU modules.

With HW04-C, keys can be copied and programmed and alarms disabled without replacing locked modules, saving time, labor, and significant cost on spare-key and all-keys-lost jobs.

The HW04-C supports high-security key operations on BCM, RFA, and TCU systems through 2026+. It expands on the A and B packages to handle the most restricted JLR vehicles currently on the road.

The tool guides users step by step through programming and works even when BCM and RFA/KVM modules are locked. Alarm OFF is supported on most vehicles from 2016–2026+, and OBD key programming is supported from 2010–2026+.

Supported key types include OEM PEPS keys (new or used), OEM non-PEPS keys (new or used with UWB disabled by software), Lock50 HW18 keys (UWB disabled), and Lock50 HW14 keys, which are required for locked modules. When UWB is disabled, proximity and remote functions remain fully operational.

CAN wire Alarm OFF software is included and compatible with most models through 2022. Required adapters are included. The included 4-key set consists of two HW14 keys for locked modules and two HW06 keys for older systems, including cloning or file-based duplication when modules are locked.

The package includes the DOIP Ethernet adapter and the C-package adapter.

Unlike many JLR tools that become obsolete after security updates, the HW04-C uses cloud-based, auto-updating software designed to continue functioning as BCM, RFA, and TCU updates are released.

VIN usage, time, and location may be logged. Devices may be restricted or blocked if misuse is detected.

Technical support includes up to three vehicles or one hour of assistance. Additional remote support via TeamViewer is available at $250 for the first hour and $150 per additional hour on the same vehicle. Vehicles with prior damage or unauthorized work must be returned to a programmable state.
